Tror på Asienturism

Pär Nuder tror på stora turistströmmar från Asien framöver.

Det pratades fiske och fiske­turism när Pär Nuder besökte Luleälvens strand nedanför Bodens kraftstation.
- Ett oplöjt område, sade han om potentialen för fisketurism i Luleälven.
Hela besöksnäringen är något Sverige bör satsa än mer på i ett Europa där mycket är privat mark och reglerat. Allemansrätten och orörda naturen är våra trumfkort, anser finansministern. Han tror att kinesiska och indiska turister kommer att hitta till Sverige vad det lider.
Och det kan bli rena raktetbränslet för besöksnäringen.
- Några hundra miljoner indier är rikare än oss svenskar, vilket vi inte tänker på. Men vi måste marknadsföra Sverige bättre internationellt.
Men då behövs kapital?
- Vi gjorde en relativt stor satsning i vårpropositionen. Jag är inte främmande att gå vidare.
